What is required for training:
- Practical experience in at least one programming language (Java, Python or Scala)
- Basic knowledge of Relational Database Management System (DBMS) theory
- Understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL)
- English level from B2 (Upper-Intermediate) and higher
How to get started?

- Take an English test available in your profile. The result will not affect your participation in the program, but it is recommended to have B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level and higher.
- Receive a link to the Learn platform and start studying. After the registration, you will get a link via your profile's email, or you can find it in the notifications tab.

What will you learn?
This first stage takes ~3 months and requires ~12 hours of workload in a week.
Module 1: basic technical self-paced courses:

You need to score at least 70% to proceed.
Module 1: Data Engineering Intro self-paced courses:
- Data Modeling and Architecture

- Big Data and Hadoop

You need to score at least 70% to proceed.
If you show good results during the technical interview, we will invite you to practice the acquired skills at the intensive stage in the EPAM Data Lab, which usually lasts 3 months. There you will be offered the mentoring program with one-to-one weekly communication with production experts:

- Orchestration & Scheduling
- Cloud and Databricks

- This training is only for citizens of Lithuania or Latvia and specialists moved to this country with work permits in the EU.
- If you don't start passing a self-paced course or your progress doesn't reach 20% for 3 months since the registration, your application will be automatically rejected.
- This external program is not available for current participants of EPAM Training Center and EPAM employees. Feel free to contact your Training Coordinator or Resource Manager regarding other opportunities.
