ABOUT PATH OF SALESFORCE FULLSTACK DEVELOPER:

At the fullstack developer path, you will gain valuable skills in object programming and use them in practice. You will learn about Salesforce.com platform which in combination with other skills will allow you to participate in interesting projects developing enterprise-class applications. You will use APEX (Salesorce.com language very similar to Java) for the backend and Lightning Components (Salesforce.com framework similar to React) for the frontend.

As the participant, you will receive the necessary level of knowledge and practical experience that will enable them to begin building a successful career in IT. The program focuses on the most useful and practical information for starting out in SalesForce and performing efficient work on real projects.

PROGRAM DETAILS:

  • Registration end date: 20 of July 2022
  • Program start date: beginning of August 2022
  • Format: online
  • Duration: 3 months
  • Frequency: minimum three meetings with mentor per week
  • Meeting hours: to be agreed between the mentee and the mentor
  • Estimated time engagement: around 32 hours a week

 The program is paid – you will get paid for every single day you spend on learning!

THE SELECTION STAGE CONSISTS OF:

  • English Test - you can find the test in your profile. Please fill it in within a day or two after you register.
  • Online Technical Test - the test is online-based and will be assigned to the candidates with B1 and above level. Please, pass it within the two days after receiving it.
  • Resume screening - our recruiter will check your compliance with the requirements of the program.
  • Interview with a recruiter - a phone call with selected candidates.
  • Technical interview - an MS Teams call with the candidates who pass the previous selection stages.

The formal condition for obtaining employment after the program is the candidate's access to the Polish labor market in the scope enabling employment at EPAM Systems (Poland) Sp. z o.o.. That is why we invite candidates with free/legalized access to the Polish labor market.

  • 32 hours per week of availability in first 3 months

  • Student/graduate of Information Technology or similar discipline
  • Good knowledge of Java or C# or Python or PHP or other web technology
  • Good knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, Javascript
  • Good knowledge of relational databases
  • Knowledge of Responsive Design
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking
  • Good written and spoken English

NICE TO HAVE

  • Realized projects (commercial or private)
  • Experience with code repositories (GIT)
  • Knowledge of other technologies and frameworks e.g. Spring, NodeJS, React, Angular
What will you learn?

The Laboratory requires participants to complete three stages of the program. From the very beginning, we will assign you a mentor who will guide you through the end of the program and provide you with regular feedback.


STAGE 1

During this stage, you will receive access to dedicated training materials on the Salesforce e-learning platform and will perform tasks related to the basic knowledge of Salesforce.com. This phase of the laboratory is focused more on acquiring technology knowledge than programming skills, but it definitely prepares you for the next steps of the journey. After this stage you will be able to:

• Know what exactly Salesforce platform is

• Navigate and do configuration on the platform

• Create simple apps

 

STAGE 2

In the second month of the laboratory, you will focus on deep platform configuration, programming, testing aspects (SF tester path) and directional training on backend and frontend technologies, both in theoretical and practical areas. After successfully completing the second stage of the program, you will know:

• Complex Salesforce configuration

• Basics of APEX programming language (backend)

• Basics Lightning Web Components, Lightning Aura frameworks (frontend)

• Major mechanisms (Triggers, Batch Jobs, Web Services, Workflows, Approval Processes etc)

• Best practices (backend, frontend, testing)

 

STAGE 3

During this phase of the laboratory, you will be involved in one of the company's projects. That is the time to integrate and apply technical knowledge gained within the laboratory, and an opportunity to obtain practical experience.

 

At the end of each month of the program, there is a “checkpoint”, an evaluation meeting during which you go through the tasks that you have been working on over the past month. You will receive guidance and feedback on your progress and further development from a mentor dedicated to you. By participating in the EPAM’s Salesforce Laboratory, you not only benefit from earning a competitive salary, but you also gain technology courses, mentor’s guidance, and an opportunity to learn what the profession of a Salesforce Developer looks like.


After completing the full program, depending on your skill-set you will get an opportunity to continue your path within EPAM.
